Last I checked, this was America. Why is it that we are so bloody sensitive??? Okay let me explain what I mean... According to a blurb I read on npr, there is a group of Saudi professors attending some courses at University Tech of Virginia and their classes are divided by gender. Now stop me if I'm wrong, but when Americans go to other countries we are expected to follow that nations customs and be respectful of their culture. Why is it we are not expecting the same respect from other nations? I'm all for respect but moreso when it's reciprocated. I realize other nations' traditions aren't like our own, but my point is that if we host people from another nation, why aren't they worried about following American traditions of diversity? Just another rant.
